April 2019 , Paul asks me to marry him. I decide that the plates at this wedding will not be the caterer's white plates.

December 2019, I'm ready for the wedding which will take place in June 2020. I found the 600 plates we needed but... I don't want to stop! I create the Instagram account @assiettesanciennes on which I post a photo a day and I begin to sell plates.

October 2020, Covid happens and our wedding is postponed, but I'm still having incredible fun hunting down new vintage plates. I end up quitting my job to go full time.

(January 2021, we finally get married with a very small of family and close friends. The 600 plates are absolutely not useful!)
